Beginners
Aimed at those who have no experience of working on computers or for those who are frightened of having a go. Switch On offers a gentle introduction to computer jargon and terminology, familiarisation with keyboard, mouse and screens.
Learners can then progress onto Introductory courses from our IT for Life range:

- Desktop Publishing
- Spreadsheets
Intermediate
Once you've mastered the basics, move onto our IT2 range of courses which include:
- Using Your Computer
- Word Processing
- Spreadsheets
- Presentations
- Databases
- Electronic Communication
The above courses in this range can be used to work towards the European Computer Driving Licence (EDCL) and the ITQ (National Vocational Qualification in IT).
You can access your course from anywhere where you have access to the internet. All of the Home and Office IT courses are available online so you can study at a time and pace that suits you – from the comfort of home in the evening or at weekends, in your workplace during lunch breaks or quiet period or at the Numidia Centres in Coventry City Centre or Tile Hill.
